SCA kids excel in the Athreya International Inter Academy UNDER 15 tournament organized by Athreya Cricket Academy & Empowerment Centre, Thrissur from 21st to 28th April 2017.

This year our kids were lucky to get continuous tournaments. Athreya Cricket Academy & Empowerment Centre, Thrissur invited us to take part in their maiden UNDER15 tournament (Athreya International Inter Academy UNDER 15 tournament) held from 21st to 28th April 2017. Impressed by their world class amenities and tournament fixture, we decided to participate in it. Teams from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Dubai, and various other teams from Kerala participated in the tournament. It was an amazing experience for our boys to play in the floodlight, that too in pink ball. Though it was their first experience, our boys played excellently in all the three matches.

Joemon Joy was selected as man of the match for his all-round performance (23 runs and 2 wickets) against “YCC North Paravur”.

Bengaluru Tour 2017

It’s a policy of SCA to take their U14 kids, outside Kerala to give practice matches. Since last few years the destination was Goa. But this year, we chose Bengaluru, which was indeed a life time experience to our kids. The accommodation was at Chinnaswami club house. From 11th April 2017 onwards we had matches with different school teams and academies. Though for many of our boys it was their first tour outside Kerala, many gave stunning performances in various matches.

As it is IPL season, children had the opportunity to meet many of the RCB team members. Some of the RCB members came to see our team and gave autographs to our kids. Children had nice photo sessions with them also. Children were allowed to watch the Net sessions of RCB team.
